Atlanta Business Chronicle’s 2017 Pacesetter Award Recognizes FinTech Innovator
ATLANTA, GA – April 28, 2017 – BAM, a leader in providing technology, cash management and working capital solutions to the transportation industry, was ranked in the top 25 out of the 100 fastest growing companies in Atlanta at the Atlanta Business Chronicle’s 2017 Pacesetter Awards.
BAM helps clients increase their financial performance by applying technology and operational efficiency. The company’s BAMwire™ solution is a specialty finance software and operations platform that is revolutionizing the traditional funds transfer and advance processes used by freight carriers and brokers. BAMwire allows users to book loads more quickly, reduce days to pay, improve credit scores and build stronger relationships while increasing cash flow.
“We’re more than pleased to be recognized alongside the fastest growing companies in Atlanta with a Pacesetter Award,” said Todd Ehrlich, BAM’s chief executive officer. “We’ve worked hard over the last several years and this award is a salute to the incredible effort our team has put into making this success happen.”
There has long been a gap in the payment processes between shippers, carriers and brokers. BAMwire bridges that gap, removing the risks inherent in the traditional methods trucking companies and brokers use to manage cash flow. BAM has expanded its capabilities and team, more than tripling staff, and helping clients grow by 60% annually.
To qualify for the Pacesetter Awards, companies must be privately held, based in the 20-county metro Atlanta area and not a subsidiary of another company. The companies also had to be established during or prior to the first quarter of 2013 and experienced a two-year growth in sales of more than 50 percent. 2017 Pacesetter winners have 2015 revenues between $1 million and $300 million.
